Ordinary Knots

Many of these knots serve a function, but they are primarily decorative. This is the majority of  what I tie:

 knot art.

Most of the work involved in this keyholder was the decoration. 

The stick hanging from the red and white grommet is a shoe horn with a 4 bight by 11 lead turkshead, in 20 lb hemp, tripled.
