Tartan Knots
This site is under construction (more-or-less continuously)
I make rope based on the colours and thread count found at the Scottish Register of Tartans. The thread count is summarized to sixteen strands. That is used to make 4 ropes of 4 strands each. Those ropes are formed into a (wired stiffened) 4 strand braid loop. The resulting 8 strands are tied into fobs.
